Pastor Benny Mathew and family stepped into this ministry only because there was a divine call from the Lord.
Pastor Benny Mathew born in a Catholic family in 1965 and his father was an atheist. Rev Mathew came into the Pentecostal fellowship in 1992 and became a born again Christian. Since then, he never looked back; always stood for the advancement of this faith. He was anointed by the Holy Spirit in the year 1993 and worked zealously for the kingdom of god. He was a committed Christian, spent enormous time in fasting, praying and studying the word of God. Pastor Benny Mathew had his secular education from Maharaja’s College, Eramnakulam, for his B.A in Social Science and completed his LL.B from Govt. Law College Eranakulam and he is presently preparing for his Masters in Divinity (M.Div).
Though there was several occasions Lord had spoken to him to enter in His ministry, Benny Mathew was bit concerned about the politics in the Pentecostal Christian world coupled with the deteriorating testimony of many of His ministers.
However, recognizing the call for the ministry he had, the local church, IPC Perumbavoor has taken the initiative to ordain him as pastor in the year 2002. The ordination was given by pastor K.M Joseph, General Secretary of Indian Pentecostal Church of God (IPC) on a special meeting at the IPC perumbavoor.
After immigration to Canada Pastor Benny Mathew was praying for a lead for the ministry and in His time, He asked His servant to step in faith in the dry ground of Canada, where the field for gospel work is not really favorable for the ministry.
Pastor Benny Mathew and family (wife- Jessy Mathew, children Kevin Mathew,Jonathan Mathew and Noel Mathew) are very active in the ministry and sharing the gospel with many in the city of Toronto.
Please pray for this ministry, because you are the watchman of this nation and a day is coming for you to stand before Him and you are accountable for everything you did in this world
